Artist's Comments

Universal love is conscious and loving at the same time. Universal love is an expression of the harmony of the totality.

Everything is in harmony with everything else. Nothing is excluded.

Your will is in harmony with your compassion.
Your compassionis in harmony with your joy.
Your joy is in harmony with your anger.
Your anger is in harmony with your body.
Your body is in harmony with your ego.
Your ego is in harmony with other people.

Everything fits and functions as a togetherness, as a oneness.

That oneness is you.

Excerpt from the Diamond Heart Book

Notes: Colored pencil & graphite drawing manipulated by Photoshop. I revisited the drawing "The Gift of Love" after it was suggested that I add a "Glow" effect to the heart. I decided to run with it and this is what transpired.

wow! That was a really good suggestion! Haha. But seriously, the combination of your graphite skills + photo-manipulation skills = yet another beautiful creation. Nice quote by the way. I'm gonna have to read that a few times through to really grasp the meaning.

Wow. Amazing. Without exaggeration I can say that this is one of the most beautiful art pieces I've seen. Love the glowing heart...and I love the wings! Very symbolic - ¡El amor es resplandeciente!
